Symptoms: Self-Doubt raises its ugly head many times during sports activities. It is very common and can last until we complete an activity the way we want. Self-Doubt cripples our personal feelings of control and potential success. As athletes, we need to learn how to stay in the “moment” and forget the immediate past. This mental control takes practice and the athlete needs to understand that it is just like learning a new skill.
